Лейбл вначале назывался Chipcache, но быстро был переименован в Megatwerp. Лейбл был свёрнут, когда создатель, Spamtron, оказался занят учёбой в университете. Позже музыкантами была предприняты две попытки возродить проект, но они были безуспешны, так как многие из основных релизов были потеряны. Повторный запуск лейбла был осуществлен вместе с выпуском релиза Return of Mega Twerp!, который позже был выпущен на лейбле Betamod, бывшем конкуренте. В конце концов в 2008-м году Megatwerp перестал существовать, а некоторые релизы были переизданы на Pterodactyl Squad.
